Meet the Photographer
Hi! I'm glad you're here : )
My name is Danett Vargas and by now, you may have gathered that I am a photographer, and I really love photography. I started after picking up my dad’s DSLR when I wanted to take better pictures of my dog, Melody, for Instagram (I promise I am not joking) and I have not put down a camera since. One of my favorite things about photography is working with people and forming meaningful connections with them! So, I want to introduce myself outside of photography so you can get to know me a little better before our session. If that sounds good, read on!

1. I’m a Clemson University alumn (go Tigers!) with a B.A. in Art and Communication.
2. I’m bilingual! I was born in Mexico y ofrezco sesiones en Español.
3. I am really passionate about other art mediums! Some of my favorites are graphic design, ceramics, and painting. I also love to craft!
4. I love traveling and always look for an excuse to do it (so if you are located outside of SC, I would love to go to you!) I have visited 21 states.
5. I love listening to all different types of music! Some of my favorite artists lately are Taylor Swift, Hozier, Noah Kahan, Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, and Houndmouth.
6. I am really passionate about other art mediums! Some of my favorites are graphic design, ceramics, and painting.
7. I love going to concerts and also do concert photography! My first concert was One Direction.
8. I love hiking and being outside! I am always looking for recommendations in the Upstate and beyond.
9. I’m a sucker for all florals, and I worked at a flower shop briefly. My favorite flowers are hydrangeas.
10. I love trying new coffees and teas. I was a barista and became unstoppable for DIY drinks afterwards.
